The Capital City River Run Half Marathon and Cooley 5K Race for Education are part of a weekend of activities that bring running to everyone in Greater Lansing. This is your chance to experience half marathon and 5K races that showcase the best that the Greater Lansing area has to offer. The CCRR is a family friendly event that raises money for the Impression 5 Science Center. The Cooley 5K raises money for schools and every entrant can nominate the school of his or her choice for a chance to win part of the race proceeds.

Our half-marathon will take you through a portion of the Michigan State University campus, along the Lansing River Trail and through several scenic parks. The Cooley 5K starts at Cooley Law School Stadium and features downtown attractions, including a loop around the State Capitol building. There are also two special races for children, which means that just about anybody can come out, have fun, improve their fitness level, and help raise money for a great cause.
